Cartoon One Srl, founded in 2005, is one of the most active european companies in the animation television series productions for children (preschool age) and children (6-12 years). The company has produced some series in coproduction with the major national broadcasters - such as RAI - and international companies - such as, BKN Spain, HAHN FILM Germany, EPIDEM ZOT Finland. The television series produced by Cartoon One are broadcasted through the most important TV channels in Europe, including RAI 2 Italy, Disney Channel France, RTP Portugal, RTL2 and KIKA in Germany, Canal Plus France, MTV OY Finland, Norway, NRK, ORF in Austria, Duna TV, Hungary etc.. Cartoon One has more than 3,600 minutes of animation products

 

Company Profile

Since its foundation in 2005, Cartoon One has distinguished itself for its ability to combine professional experience in complementary areas, such as production and marketing in order to achieve a gradual and progressive growth. The company has immediately highlighted on the international market by signing important coproduction agreements. The core business which has always differentiated Cartoon One by other companies, mainly Italian, is the research and the production of  projects of the highest artistic quality.

Just three years after its establishment, Cartoon One receives the award for "Studio of the Year 2008" at the Cartoons on the Bay, the international animation festival organized by RAI. In 2008 Cartoon One receives the nomination as "BEST PRODUCER AND DISTRIBUTOR OF THE YEAR" at Cartoon Forum, the most important event in European animation. In 2008 the animated series "School of Vampires" was nominated in the category "Best Cartoon for Childrens" at the Cartoons On The Bay. In August 2009 Cartoon One signed an acquisition contract for the TV series "Teen Days" with Disney Channel France. It's the first time Disney Channel France buys a project entirely designed in Italy. France is the first Disney Channel in Europe, second in the world after the U.S. In 2011, "Teen Days" was nominated for "Best animated TV Series" in the category Teens /Tweens at the KIDSCREEN Awards.
